Location: MN [Virtual]  Company: emerging talent management consulting services organization Role: sales of professional certification programs, corporate talent management, consulting and training packages and related professional services  Compensation: includes an aggressive commission structure on programs and packages sold, an accelerated ramp commission plan and possible quarterly and/or annual bonus opportunities Travel: limited national and international travel may be required

While the position will be mainly home office based, attendance at frequent local office meetings is required. Travel is not required to conduct day to day business and build relationships but there may be important national and international travel opportunities. The individual selected for the role will be provided with the full Certification training and will receive recognition as a Certified Coach with the full program title when courses are completed and requirements are met.

Job Description
Connected to the premier talent assessment tool in the U.S. and a transformational talent management, organizational development, organizational performance coaching program, the Talent Management Certification Consultant [TMCC] will play a key role in the development and management of client relationships on a local, regional, national and even international basis. This is a high profile global sales role riveted to critical company growth initiatives. The TMCC will target prospective client companies involved in the improvement of employee performance and overarching talent management services. The role will involve strategic sales planning, account management planning, client relationship development and management, prospecting, prospective client qualification, value proposition delivery, decision influence and contract closure. The TMCC will be a collaborative and collegial advisor as well as professional coach and counselor to executives, senior leaders, organizational development and talent management professionals, HR leaders, professional coaches, workplace development consultants and more.


  • B2B sales experience (professional services or intangible sales preferred)
  • Selling to executives in mid-large corporate environments preferred
  • HR, Org Dev, Talent Management, Training, Learning or Coaching experience is a plus
  • Years of sales experience are less important than a clear history of new business development success, client relationship development skills and passion for the field[s] of talent management, talent assessment, performance coaching, organizational development, human resources and/or career coaching
  • Professional communications skills – writing – compelling, influential, course-altering
  • Professional communications skills – speaking – compelling, influential, course-altering
  • Business acumen
  • Strategic level, business relevant Social Media savvy [LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc.]
  • Professional polish, high integrity, disciplined, organized, self-managing and results focused
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • MBA is a plus
