Role

The Sr. Account Manager will take over existing business (already established MSAs) and collaborate directly with leadership to develop a strategy to support the pursuit of high-value prospective clients. This is a sales and client relationship management role based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Currently, the role does not have a travel requirement. Business will be conducted with local, regional, national and possibly international clients. Some travel may eventually be required.

The Sr. Account Manager role will involve growing existing business and acquiring new business. Responsibilities will include.

  • Opportunity assessment and strategic planning
  • Leveraging existing and creating new client relationships
  • Effectively and consistently engaging IT and business executives
  • Working with SME/others in the development and presentation of compelling solutions
  • Successfully presenting a broad array of services including: IT Solutions, Managed Services, Professional Services and Staffing
  • Developing and meeting business growth goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of successful sales and client relationship management experience in IT Consulting/IT Solutions or IT Resourcing/IT Staffing arena
  • 5+ years experience preferred but not required
  • Attitude, aptitude and B2B sales acumen will be considered a big plus and experience qualifier
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written cogency, diplomacy, professionalism)
  • Strongly developed sales acumen, influence and gravitas
  • Outstanding history of developing deep, broad, meaningful and productive client relationships
  • Leadership/executive potential
  • Bachelor’s degree
