Sr. Account Executive – IT/Management Consulting – Minneapolis, MN


The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for managing, growing and developing major accounts and strategic/targeted new business development.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and protect any existing business within major accounts
  • Develop, expand, deepen and broaden client relationships/relationship channels
  • Discover and exploit new business development opportunities
  • Establish high value client interface and trusted advisor status
  • Ensure quality, timeliness and effectiveness of all client communications
  • Collaborate with recruiting, delivery and support staff and drive all sales/service actions
  • Acquire competitive intelligence and command knowledge and expertise specific to assigned accounts
  • Work with leadership and maintain accountability for the execution of strategic business growth initiatives


  • Preferred 3 to 7 years of success selling IT consulting services to major accounts in an IT consulting firm
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of success selling IT consulting services to major accounts in an IT consulting firm
  • Outstanding client relationship development skills
  • Exemplary professionalism, polish and executive presence
  • Refined consultative selling skills, exceptional success track
  • Expert communications skills and multi-channel communications savvy
  • Solid business judgement, able to combine effective sales persistence with diplomacy and protocol
  • Good information technology acumen and an interest/passion for IT
  • Urgent, prioritized, organized, results focused and results driven
  • 4 year college degree
  • MBA is a plus


The Sr. Account Executive position is a high compensation sales and client relationship role with earnings that may well exceed $200,000.
