Role

The Client Relationship Manager works directly with the highest priority established major accounts to expand existing business. This is a strategic sales and client relationship management role critical to company growth initiatives.  While most of the work is focused on business growth within existing client relationships, the Client Relationship Manager will also be directly involved in some new strategic accounts business development.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned existing major accounts. Develop long range strategic growth and business optimization plans. Cultivate, expand and maintain productive relationships with key client managers and executives. Work collaboratively with recruiting, IT service engagement/delivery and business and/or technology/SMEs. While your primary work will be within established account[s], you will be responsible to initiate business with select, new strategic account level clients. Gain deep understanding of strategic account targets, gather competitive intelligence, develop and execute a new business acquisition strategy, demonstrate and leverage competitive differentiation and successfully open new accounts if/when directed.

Requirements

  • 2 years minimum, prefer 4+ years of successful IT/Management Consulting sales experience
  • Strongly prefer Minneapolis/St. Paul market experience with a reputable IT Consulting firm
  • Outstanding client relationship development and client relationship management skills
  • A passion for solving business problems with IT solutions and a basic understanding of the strategies, protocols and nuances involved in selling to business and IT executives
  • Exceptional client relationship and communications skills
  • Ability to structure, plan, organize and prioritize around a results-focused sales process
  • Engaged, driven, high activity sales achiever
  • Strong career orientation and ambitious professional growth plans
  • 4-year college degree

Compensation

  • Salary will be based on knowledge, skill , relevant experience and previous accomplishments
  • Salary range: up to $105,000
  • Exciting, rich commission plan includes tiered accelerators
  • Total potential compensation $200,000+
