Role
“Player/Coach” role involving hands-on selling to strategic accounts, managing the selling function and managing team(s) across multiple locations in the Twin Cities area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop market plan and sales strategy identifying prospective new customers
  • Sell to strategic, high-potential prospective accountsMN IT Staffing and IT Solutions Firm
  • Participate in company and industry events
  • Manage the full sales function, including:
    • Hire, develop and manage sales staff and lead sales department
    • Set specific team goals and timelines
    • Create individual goals supported by specific individual plans
    • Establish reporting and accountability for team members
    • Monitor individual activity/performance
    • Teach, coach, manage- develop team, optimize performance
    • Continuously develop, measure and improve sales strategies
    • Assemble competitive intelligence and implement competitive strategies
    • Collaborate closely with marketing and company ownership/leadership

Requirements
Previous management experience is a plus but NOT required

  • 5 years of successful outside business-to-business sales experience
  • Staffing business (any kind) strongly preferred
  • Sales-minded, passion for sales action, adaptable to quick change
  • Strong sales and business acumen with equally strong leadership attributes
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Solid business strategy, planning, forecasting, operational and organizational skills
  • High-energy, mass-action business mover with a focus on real business breakthroughs and real business results
  • Open, collaborative, personable, authentic, fearless, creative and curious
  • 4 year college degree strongly preferred

Compensation
Salary = $80,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Individual Sales Commission = strong GM-based incentive plan
Team Performance Bonus = TBD based on the performance of the full team you manage
