Retained search, sometimes referred to as “retainer search” is an exclusive working relationship involving a contract and payment of fees at regular intervals during the course of the search project.
Retainer fees
A fee basis is estimated or determined. Retainer fees are divided into 3 equal parts. The first retainer payment is made prior to commencing the search. At 30 days, a second retainer payment is made. At 60 days, the final payment is made.
