Strategic Accounts Manager | Software Sales | Minneapolis, MN


This is an “A” player sales role for an experienced, highly successful enterprise software sales professional.

Our client is a leading global software company with a NEW opportunity for a senior software sales professional to develop and manage strategic accounts in an extraordinary territory. Based in Minneapolis, you will be responsible for selling enterprise level software to a specific business unit within the world’s largest, fastest growing and best managed companies. Creating new business within an existing client base and with newly developed clients, your collaborative, executive selling style will land you in front of some of the world’s top business unit leaders. 

The average sale exceeds $1/2 million in enterprise software package, implementation services and managed services.

Selection Criteria

  • Accomplished new business acquisition experience with large corporate enterprise clients
  • Exceptional client engagement, client relationship and executive relationship development/management experience
  • 7+ years minimum of successful experience selling enterprise level software applications to senior business unit executives
  • Professional, knowledgeable, collaborative, consultative business professional capable of influencing senior executives
  • Complex sales experience with ability to execute sales strategy, accomplish objectives and drive business agenda
  • Ability to think creatively, leverage business acumen, exercise business judgment, make important decisions and take action
  • Capable of anticipating complex business challenges and resolving problems
  • Goal driven, high action pursuit oriented, energized performer
  • Executive level communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or a relevant experience/success combination that mitigates need for degree
  • Willingness to travel
