As Managing Director, you will lead production as an individual contributor and maintain full-cycle involvement in high priority search assignments and client relationships. You will manage and grow our team of sales recruiters, executive recruiters, researchers and sourcing specialists in Minneapolis and be directly involved in the management of internal systems, tools and processes.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Managing Director, Executive Search in Minneapolis will include:

  • Establish high quality search assignments with top performing companies within our focus industries in the greater Twin Cities metro area
  • Develop meaningful, productive, deep and long term relationships with strategic corporate clients
  • Grow client relationships into exclusive local, regional and national account service relationships
  • Identify, recruit, assess and select the finest sales talent in the Twin Cities marketplace for Deare clients
  • Work full recruiting process as an individual contributor on significant search assignments
  • Maximize recruiting team production by working to improve recruiting focus, systems, process and metrics
  • Provide continuous improvement support to our best-practices recruiting model
  • Lead and manage the recruiting team: hire, teach, mentor, coach, motivate and develop a world-class team of recruiting professionals
  • Monitor and manage client, candidate and constituent experience
  • Track, measure and manage individual, team and company performance and provide regular reports, summaries and analysis
  • Prepare and conduct team meetings
  • Plan, develop, implement and manage team business development and client service initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of marketing, web and social media content
  • Implement fresh, creative, innovative and difference-making ideas

Requirements
The individual we seek will possess the best combination of the following:

  • 7+ years of successful sales/executive recruiting experience in a best-practices, high integrity firm and/or corporate recruiting environment
  • Previous business experience including sales, sales management, sales executive, marketing or sales operations experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated and obviously exceptional talent in developing and maintaining client and candidate relationships
  • Expert skill in the full suite of modern recruiting methodologies, systems, best practices/processes, metrics and recruiting management
  • Well read, well prepared “quick minded” student of business with a keen eye for detail, a precise memory and excellent business judgment
