Director of Sales Operations

Location:  Minneapolis, MN  Company: Web-based software/solutions company  Role: operations management, sales and marketing support  Salary: $75,000 – $95,000  Bonus: up to 20%   Total Compensation: to $115,000

Job Description

The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing processes, systems and support for the sales and marketing functions of the business. Duties will include: managing operations staff, process, system and resource management, channel partner support, setting up and providing software demonstrations for clients, fielding client requests, project managing proposals, supporting Account Managers, improving customer communications and relations, managing development of marketing communications, providing research, compiling competitive intelligence data participation in senior staff meetings.

  • 5+ years experience in an operations management or in a broad, key sales/marketing support or client relationship support role
  • 2+ years experience drafting proposals and developing critical client communications
  • Effective client relationship, client service and client communications skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with a flair for marketing and sales language
  • Adaptable, quick learner with some technology acumen
  • High energy initiative taker, innovative thinker, team player, organized and efficient multi-tasker
  • Bachelor’s degree
